Running RoadRunner-GPS

Depending on the model of your device, the application will be installed in the Downloads Folder or directly on the applications screen. The icon for RoadRunner-GPS is:

Select the icon to invoke the RoadRunner app. You will be placed in the home screen as shown below:

The home screen displays real time summary of your run as well as the ability to start/stop the run. The toolbar at the bottom of the screen contains icon buttons to navigate to different screens. The following section gives the overview of these icons and screens.

The map screen displays your current postion using BlackBerry Maps. If you do not have Blackberry Maps installed on your device then you will see a message indicating this.

The map screen also tracks your route as your are moving so you will be able to see the path that you have traversed.

The profile screen allows you to create a user profile. This is a necessary step as the information entered in the profile is used to correctly measure your performance metrics.

The options screen allows you to specify display units as well as program automatic chimes.

The data screen shows all of the important metrics for your workout. This includes, distance, speed, pace and calories expended.
